Ebay bid sniping, building an awesome portable gaming laptop..

So I'm excited. Literally excited. I just saved over $100 on ebay, bid sniping.. When I bought my laptop, it ran a bit slower than my laptop and I wanted to get a new processor (one of the many reasons why i got this laptop, modability). Anyhoo, I've been sorta collecting parts (new and refurbished). For example, I just bought a new red back cover ($20) to replace (which might be really hard and I'm not sure if I'd want to do it. I also got a new palmrest with fingerprint reader ($15 ). The best thing i got was the 2.2 ghz core 2 duo processor which sells for 250 on newegg ( a site for the best prices on computer parts) for $153, it was listed at 150 and at around 22 seconds left, i placed a bid for $160 and got it at $153.... maybe later along in the future, i'll invest in a larger hard drive... but that won't be for a while. Pretty much all of these items are funded through my birthday money... I was able to sell my older processor, old ram, and other stuff through craigslist.

Also I am selling my sony vaio laptop t150 on craigslist, so hopefully that should garner me a couple of hundreds of dollars...

Gary would be pleased to know that once i get my larger hard, i'll probably dual boot Mac OS X Leopard...
